my heart tells

and the hours scrape by
scrape my skin
the hours of the flower
wilt the sun
worn dial, still hands
so many things thrown away
there were many rings today
and wrist-ware, necklaces,
bright things

forever noise, white whine
still small voices growing
no peace walking or still
no peace in the day
gone forever is she
and then there were none
all down and in
no sky, no plans
my heart tells the hour
