Warm

Mid-summer: warm
temperate day - I look with
approval at my body:
less food more activity
means better, even with
injury

outside the leaves tremble
warm breezes, temperate
sun: lovely day for the
garden

in here quiet, I look out
but on my mind
sewing: a gift
for a friend - I hope
the garden gods
will pardon

I hope the temperate days
won't end and I will
have my time in the sun.
