Perfect II

the perfect one
how can we be like you
in this maze
with all its false lights
false passages?

to be good is
to be slayed
by all those who only know
how to love themselves
and hold themselves
higher than their peers
whom they don't recognise

skin is skin is skin -
the difference is in the
eyes only: we are all
made the same
but where we place our
footsoles
is the choice we make
at each crossroads
at each gate
