Eat

Eat the rolled scroll
eat the page of
your own life given you
and don't be
rebellious - no
wailing and gnashing
of teeth - chew, chew,
and walk the
path that opens up
before your feet - eat
the food
appointed on your plate
and bless the place
you navigate and
take the peace back
unaccepted and
refused - walk on
to pastures new, the
hands to be
clasped and few.
