It's amazing how one can plan the future in a bus,
Through the window on the world outside, that glass
That flashes everything by.  All those cars and people
Haze into distance, insignificance, haze to grey
Colourlessness, whilst the baying of the morning sun
Bursting through the pane, pastes-up the edges of my plan,
And colours all my thoughts in crayon.
