A Different Hat

Today I wear a different hat,
The sun is beaming, the
Buds are budding and
My heart quietly sings to itself
Of health and wealth and
Life left to live strongly and
With an accent that is mine.
In this time I
Strive to reclaim my own, with
Much water and sun I can
Do this thing, and know a summer
Coming with its gifts of fitting
Clothes. In this coming of
Age, I cannot lose.
