A dreich day - we
walked out toward the
far hills toward the
water:  the river bend.
The land needed drizzle
and we didn't mind.
Body well-oiled the fresh
air filled my lungs,
water and wind, grey
cloud, the world turned
grey - balancing the
scorch of sun and all the
soil like dust and
sparrows bathing.  Soused.
