limitless

The street lights are orange
no longer, small pools
of white light, shaded
to ensure they stay down,
illumine the small road,
the small cottages

how quiet it is out there
and in
nothing moves, so still
and silent trees, no
weather and no stars

what is, are my quiet
eyes, my small heart
and a universe within
stretching limitless
from earth
to heaven
