hidden

secrets carefully swathed in
purple velvet luscious
cradled in perfumed lotus leaves indolent
in their glory
blue sentinel straight and
guardian of cut and burnished crystal
deep blue as the sea
fragrant roses lie in dry sweet piles
on silk
waves of pale and delicately undulating
ripples
lightly perfumed air and a dim
light, languishing
lazy early morning light
