Victory

Everyone
Has their midnight
When the air
Suffocates, the
Noise silences,
The colours blind
And the mouth
Is shut while
The brain quietly bleeds.

This is mine
And I have
No-one who can
Help me now: I am
Supine
From the blow
You meted out:
Winded and
Done, counted
Out on the floor.

I saw a fist raised
To take the win
But know that one
Victory does not
 Gain the war.
