There Must Be - I

There must be a place, with
White walls and soft
Lights, and peace, the
Kind of peace that
Comes with a sunset and the
Plaintif call of the
Curlew out across the water.

There must be a place of
Heartsease, of no pain and
No worry where
All thoughts cease -
The mind coasting easily
At an easy pace - there
Must be a place for me
To be myself and glide, to
Live my life in peace
And happily - there
Must be a place.
