The Wings I

my wings didn't
work that time, they
refused to open and
bear me up - I
must have been
clipped at
some point been and
did not see it
happening - the
fall was true and
flying, the
wings were there
but lying as to
function and working
capability the
feathers torn and
flighty, being
mischevious at
the wrong time - and
now, all my
cultivating cannot
change them or
multiply them or
simply make them
grow - one
pair is all you
get and the
label says nothing
about
burn and ruin -
irreplaceable
are one's wings,
and once done,
they do not
fly to sing
