Simplicity

I hurt.
Am scored.
Alone I abhor
This vacuum.

I water my room
With salt
And pain. Am always
Down

Head bowed.
No matter how
High I raise my
Eye - Oh

God why am I
Singled-out
For this
Agony this

Trial.
I would howl if
I were animal
But

I have dignity
To keep my
Head above your
Foulness your

Denying of my
Divinity. Let
Me be O let me
Be.

My father bequeathed
Me integrity.
Thus will I live
Without thee.
