Sailing II

I love my washing
bowing filled with wind
like sails - it reminds me
of water and the far
horizon-line, endless
ranks of moving waves

here, nothing moves: the air
is warm and light breezes
blow my sheets: I am
becalmed today, content
to hang around and please
myself with my time, forget

my mind of graves
and gravel, look forward
to my own horizon
still out there for me to find
