La Raison

to find a raison
d'etre from the
detritus is an
impossible task

alone. How
do I sustain such
trial and endeavour
how do I risk

much to reclaim
what I left behind.
I rue the day I
lost all I owned

out of sight but
not out of mind
is a life of
losing ground.
