Infancy

I want you
to touch your finger
to my soul, place your
palm lightly
in my brain, breathe
softly on my skin, can you
come in through these doors,
through the purple of my
eyes, pass by the sin, the
sin all around, find space
warm and curved enough
to live in, create, even, love
in a world of drowning.
