In Season

I will come for
My own, I will come to
See what you have done, if
You have husbanded my
Vine and cared for
All my sheep, been
Dutiful in your growth,
And if I find you have been
Violent, and killed my sheep,
And acted with no
Honour, I will
Tear you
Up by the root until you
Wither and are done. In that
Season I bestow
All I am
On those
Worthy of the load, for
Ownership is husbandry, is
Care for all bestowed.
