I am

my garden is lush and green
and I am
what I seem - the woman
who walks the paths and the
grass, who breathes deep-
in the air, who fought
dragons, and won, to be here

who holds those in her heart
who never will leave, who
raises her head above sorrow
with no reprieve - I stared-
down the gorgon, and lived
to be here

tomorrow will be bright
and I will be gay, I will
do better with my dark clouds
I will blow them away - I
drank an ocean, wrestled
Poseidon, and beat him, to walk
this land I own
