Here, There, and Nowhere

I have deserved
all I was served every
kick and blow each
fall for not
seeing the writing
on the wall for

not keeping what I
loved most of
all - for losing
and denial for

not holding what
I had, for having
my eyes veiled
and seeing too late
all I loved
and let go. I am

too stupid
and too slow. And there is
nowhere left to go.
