Floating

I am transparent as air
I am light and clear
I bobble and float
in a glowing sphere
that spins and sparkles
with translucent light
through which I gaze
with a crystal sight
to a dipping aeon
now here, now there
unfolding before me and
wafting a trail of
azure gems,
each one inside
burnished by its sun
blazing its light,
guiding the blind ones
through the mire of night
to come from the roots
into sunlight, into
a day's greenness
to a search through the branches
of the tree of life,
its scented message
borne sharply
on the keenness
of the breeze.
