Chameleon

And I miss him the
Elusive one, the wide-lipped
Grin and dancing eyes, the
Enquiring

Tilt of the head the
Nervous laugh the square
Hands. Far away
And concentrating is he

On a new family and a
Different home focussed on
Sharing and the communal
Life. He made a

Strange choice, a
Rejection of the known to travel
Far from home and
Reminders to the ties

Of the past. Yet I love him
His maleness, his protective
Strength fleeting as the
Quick press of a cloud, my

Young brother who lives
Life to the full and
Laughs loud.
