And when I moved

the sun came out
as if to approve
the sudden gesture of my limbs
in standing up
and I greet him
on leaving shade
like a long-lost friend I have shunned
and met again
unexpectedly
and I look up
and love this day
of wind and cloud and
intermittent sun
emerging like a woman
with a new dress on.
